About Us

Our Mission

Pintsize Fitness & Sports was developed in order to introduce children to exercise in a positive, fun environment where they will gain the skills to build healthy habits that will last them a lifetime.

Our mission is to make equitable, high-quality sports and martial arts programs accessible to all communities in order to cultivate curious, courageous, and kind humans everywhere. Our vision is to create a positive and exciting environment that will introduce children to sports and fitness while building self-confidence, physical, emotional and social development during children’s formidable years.

Studies show that children who begin exercising at a young age have increased self-esteem, earn better grades and continue to lead healthy, active lives into adulthood!

Why Choose Pintsize Sports?

Coach Miller says: “When children are encouraged at a young age to participate in sports or other physical activity, and given the belief that they have all the tools they need to succeed, not just in sports but in life. We believe that, if you expose children to fun activities at a young age, encourage them, build self-confidence and instill the belief that, although everyone has different natural talents, practice is the most important skill and with the right mindset, every single player on the team is valuable”

Why Choose Pintsize Karate?

Martial arts don’t just teach children how to defend themselves, while that's an important skill to develop, it's just the tip of the iceberg. Most of the real benefits are below the surface, not always visible to the eye. While kids believe they're having fun and you get to see them expend some energy, martial arts are teaching them:

Perseverance

Discipline

Respect

Responsibility

Not all Martial Arts programs are alike. Our philosophy is that if it's fun kids won't even realize how much they're learning.Coach Miller says: “As someone who's been teaching children for over 30 years I know there's a fine line between having fun and being challenged. In our program children not only gain self-confidence but also learn character-building traits such as "Reshiki" (dojo etiquette) sportsmanship and focus”Our motto is "If you think you can...you can, and if you know you can. you will!” This attitude crosses over into all aspects of life, from studying, peer to peer relationships, and healthy habits.
